It's the brightness of the image that's so disturbing. And maybe the brightness in you that's so disturbing as well. Good Disturbing, I mean as a sincere compliment.
As a side note, this (and many of your photos) has a visual and emotional quality that the new Von Trier movie, Melancholia, produces.
