They put up scaffolding and netting over a building in my town a few months ago. Next time I noticed, half of the building was gone. Then all of it.





It's comforting for me to feel like a collection of atoms hurtling breakneck outward from a single point at the center of the universe, all living matter collected and reduplicated like drips or waves into a fractal pattern.



I think of things to write here all day long, and forget them all by the time I get to the computer.



Legs, feet, cherries, wood, rubber, river.
