What do you call yourself when you're at your most self-hating? I mean internally, in your private dialog? I always go for "stupid" or "idiot," because I hate myself most when I'm wrong about things. What I value the most deeply seems to be not compassion but intelligence. I try really hard not to hurt anyone but I'm not sure I'm actually that kind, I'm just trying to be perfect all the time.
