For the nth time

I love going places for the first time and seeing new things, but what really fascinates me is how spending a lot of time looking at one thing, over the course of a month or several months or even years, changes how you see it. With each iteration, my understanding of an object becomes more complete and less definite. There are as many ways of seeing as there are moments in time.

  1. That's an interesting point. To me, as a subset of your thought, looking at objects/places over time is about seeing how dynamic these things really are. Seeing objects that are normally thought of as very static and permanent weather, breathe, and erode feels extremely beautiful. -k.

    1. yes! It's a window into time on a different scale.

Sorry for the delay... I'm so used to never getting comments that I don't even check. I only clicked on that tab today in a lucky mistake.
