I developed three rolls of film this morning. An exercise in continuing delayed gratification, they're not the ones I hoped they were.
I've been thinking about what I said about the reversed-image self-portraits, and it seems odder and odder. Pictures I take in the mirror seem natural, although my face is reversed there too. Does my knowledge of whether something is within the context of a mirror take precedence over my expectations about how my face looks? I see myself more often in a mirror than a straight image, anyway, so maybe it should seem more natural that way, although apparently it does not.
