I'm always a little afraid that I work in media people don't respond to, that people want to listen to music, not look at pictures. I want my books to read like the best albums you've ever heard. I want them to wake you up and fuck with your feelings just like music can. I think I can do that. People have said my books make them sad, so that's one feeling successfully evoked, but I think I can do more.

And then there's this, but I don't really even know what it is. This is me existing in the world of the internet.
